MOFCOM Started Final Review on Anti-dumping Measures against Imports of Electrolytic Capacitor Paper from Japan


The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China released, on April 18, its Announcement No. 15, 2012, and decided to make final review on the anti-dumping measures against imports of paper for electrolytic capacitor from Japan.

As prescribed in the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Anti-dumping, the period for the levy of the anti-dumping duty may be extended as appropriate if the review could determined that the termination of the anti-dumping duty would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury.

The Ministry of Commerce issued an announcement on April 17, 2007, deciding to levy anti-dumping duty on imports of paper for electrolytic capacitor originated from Japan, and the term of it was 5 years as from April 18, 2007. On February 10, 2012, electrolytic capacitor paper industry of China applied for a final review, requesting for continuing to implement such anti-dumping measures. MOFCOM decided, after examination, to start the final review.
