| MOFCOM Spokesman Comments on EU and US Consultation Request to WTO over Financial Information Management Measures of China’s Xinhua News Agency |

We noticed that the EU and USA have requested consultations at WTO over the financial information management measures of China’s Xinhua News Agency. The WTO dispute settlement procedure is one of the ways for settling disputes between WTO members. As a WTO member, China respects the choice of the other members. China shall earnestly research the said request, and resolve the issue in terms of WTO’s controversial dispute settlement procedure. |
