China and the Philippines are friendly close neighbors across the sea, and there has been a long history of friendship between the Chinese people and Filipinos. The Chinese government attaches great importance to developing the good-neighborly and friendly relations with the Philippines. We are glad to see that China-Philippines economic and trade ties have developed rapidly in recent years, and brought substantial benefits for the two peoples. The recent difficulties confronting some China- Philippines cooperative projects shall not have an impact on the overall bilateral economic and trade cooperation. It is believed that solutions can definitely be found soon through the joint efforts of the two countries. The Chinese government has always required its overseas enterprises to strictly abide by the laws of the residential countries, and conduct business operations in conformity with the international standards. China is willing to work with the Philippines in unswervingly promoting the China-Philippines economic and trade cooperative ties to develop in a deeper and wider range. |
