Tian Lipu stated that China would continue to play an active role in boosting communication and cooperation with ASEAN countries on intellectual property rights and improving regional cooperation on intellectual property rights in Asia via seminars, personnel trainings, shares of information resources, etc. Singaporean Minister of Law and Home Affairs Ho Peng Kee stated at the conference that Chinese enterprises should strengthen their intellectual property rights protection in overseas markets and speed up their patent applications in major overseas markets to further enhance their international competitiveness.
