| MOFCOM to Initiate Mid-term Review on Dumping and Dumping Margin of Dimethyl Cyclosiloxane of Primary Shape Imports from UK |

On April 25, MOFCOM released Announcement No.42, 2007, on decision to initiate mid-term review on dumping and dumping margin on imported dimethyl cyclosiloxane (cyclic dimethyl siloxane) of primary shape originated from UK’s Dow Corning Limited. On Feb 15, 2007, Dow Corning Limited asked to carry out mid-term review on dumping and dumping margin of the investigated product. It claimed that since such dumping margin was reduced during the review MOFCOM is asked to reconfirm the dumping margin according actual situation. MOFCOM examined according to relevant laws and decided to initiate mid-term review from April 25. The product under review is the product investigated before. The tariff No. of the product is 29310000、38249090 in China’s customs import and export tariff. The mid-term review shall be completed before April 25, 2008.
