| Vice Governor of Gansu Province Sun Xiaoxi Meeting with Officials of World Intellectual Property Organization |

| Officials of World Intellectual Property Organization came to Gansu province to hold High Level Workshop on Intellectual Property of West China on May 30. Sun Xiaoxi, vice governor of Gansu province, met with Wang Binying and the other two officials of WIPO in Lanzhou. Li Yuguang, vice director of the State Intellectual Property Office of P.R.C, attended the meeting.
On behalf of Gansu government, Sun Xiaoxi extended welcome to the officials of WIPO and vice director of SIPO. Sun Xiaoxi said, Gansu is a less developed province with lower GDP and the environment is sensitive and frail correspondingly. Gansu is also one of the cradles of the Chinese nation and has great potential in development. Gansu would do its best to cooperate to hold the High Level Workshop on Intellectual Property of West China successfully. And he hoped to introduce foreign advanced experiences through this workshop to promote development of Gansu. (Source: Network Center of MOFCOM) |
