Xu Xianchun, Deputy Director of National Bureau of Statistics said in Shanghai that in order to avoid rapid growth in inflation rate and high value in cycle peak, China should strive to maintain the steady economic recovery and avoid the sharp rise in short term. When attending Shanghai Forum of “EMBA 10th Anniversary of Guanghua School of Management in Peking University”, Xu drew this conclusion by analyzing China’s three economic growth cycles and three inflation cycles since the reform and opening-up. He said that since the reform and opening up China’s economic growth had clearly experienced three cycles; 1981-1990 was the first cycle, 1990-1999 was the second cycle, and 1999-2009 was the third cycle. And the inflation also showed a clear periodicity, and the three cycles were 1982-1990, 1990 -1999, and 1999 -2009. |
