| In the First Half of the Year Investment by Foreign-Invested Enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Witnessed a Rapid Growth in Sichuan |

From this year, with the continuous improvement of investment environment, Sichuan had made remarkable achievements in utilizing foreign investment and foreign-invested enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan witnessed a rapid growth of investment. In the first half of the year, among the total social investment, domestic-invested enterprises invested RMB227.9b, an increase of 27.6%. Private enterprises invested with a higher enthusiasm in domestic-invested enterprises with investment of RMB38.14b, an increase of 51.6%; Foreign-invested enterprises invested RMB7.98b, an increase of 76%; enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan invested RMB6.35b, an increase of 76.4%. Foreign-invested enterprises and those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan witnessed a high growth 46.4% and 46.8% higher respectively than the whole social investment. Their percentage among the total social investment rose from 4.1% to 5.6% compared with that in the same period last year, 1.5% higher. |
