BEIJING, April 17 -- Ping An Insurance (Group) Co named Richard Jackson, its chief financial business officer, as president of Shenzhen Commercial Bank. Jackson, 51, joined Ping An in October 2005 after working for Citigroup Inc for 20 years, the Shenzhen-based insurer said Monday. His appointment has been approved by China Banking Regulatory Commission, the release said. Ping An bought 89 percent of Shenzhen Commercial Bank last year. Ping An, led by Peter Ma, is seeking to build a financial services group that will get two-thirds of its revenue from banking, securities and asset management. |
