| Software Company under Baosteel to Establish a Global Strategic Partnership with Microsoft |

The publicly listed Shanghai Baosight Co., Ltd., under Baosteel, recently established a global strategic partnership with Microsoft Company. Both parties will carry out all dimensional and multi-level cooperation in development & service of resolutions, technical cooperation, personnel training, software outsourcing, etc. Baosight, whose parent company is Baosteel and appeared on tock market by purchasing the listed shares of other enterprises, is a leading software and service enterprise in China. Its businesses cover many industries such as metallurgy, petrochemical, electric power, transportation, finance, retailing, etc. and plays a leading role in many fields like company informatization, process automatization, and urban informatization. Chen Yongzheng, CEO of Microsoft Great China Area, said that to achieve a common development together with Chinese local software industry is the long-term strategy and commitment of Microsoft in China. Chen Zaigen, general manager of Baosight, said that the establishment of a global strategic partnership with such a world leading company as Microsoft would be helpful in promoting the engineering level of Baosight. According to the MOU, the strategic cooperation between both parties is mainly in resolutions and service, Microsoft product deployment, technical cooperation, software outsourcing, etc. and will further extend to all dimensional and multi-level cooperation such as training for development engineers and structure specialists, development of resolutions, joint marketing and so on. |
