China and Kazakhstan have smoothly completed the survey and delimitation of the border between the two countries, said a document signed here Wednesday.

The document, named "21st century cooperation strategy between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Kazakhstan", was signed by Chinese President Hu Jintao and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The document did not give more details on the demarkation of border.

Earlier, Hu and Nazarbayev held about-90-minute talks in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The document said the two countries both agreed to strictly implement the agreement on strengthening trust in military field in the border areas and the agreement on cutting military forces of each other.

The two countries will coordinate with each other to prevent and strike the seeping of terrorism, separatism and extremism and other cross-border crimes, said the document.

The two countries vowed to firmly support each other's policies and actions on safeguarding national sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, said the document.

Kazakhstan will, as always, adhere to the one-China policy, admitting that the People's Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole China and Taiwan is an integral part of the Chinese territories, said the document.

Kazakhstan opposed Taiwan's entry to any international or regional organization joined only by sovereignties, and promised not to have any official contact with Taiwan, said the document.

The two countries pledged not to take any action that would hurt the sovereignty and security interests of each other at any time and under any circumstances, said the document.

The two sides agreed to keep high-level political dialogue and leaders of the two countries will pay visits to each other regularly to exchange views on bilateral relations and urgent international issues, said the document.

According to the document, China and Kazakhstan will also continue to strengthen and expand the exchanges and cooperation between the parliaments, political parties and social groups of both.

The 13-page document covers China-Kazakhstan cooperation on politics, economy, security, culture and international affairs. Huand Nazarbayev also sign 12 documents on economy, energy, finance, education, transportation.
