| Coal Export by Shanxi dropped in the first three Quarters |

According to statistics by Department of Commerce of Shanxi, coal export by Shanxi reached 20.38 million tons in Jan through Sep this year, down by 17.6% year on year and accounting for 42.4% of national total of 48.07 million tons. Export value totaled USD1.196 billion, down by 15.6%. In Jan through Sep, export price of coal of Shanxi averaged USD65.13 per ton, up by 13.63% compared with the same period last year. It averaged USD58.37 per ton in Sep, a drop of USD21.40 on monthly basis and USD15.34 less than January. Coal export to South Korea, Japan and India amounted to 1.99 million tons, 0.8 million tons and 0.4 million tons respectively, down by 33.85, 11.4% and 49.8% respectively over the same period last year.
