| Increase Rate of Export of Zhejiang was lower than the national Average |

In Jan through Feb, import and export of Zhejiang amounted to US$17.223 billion, up by 20.2% compared with the same period last year. Of which import was US$4.879 billion, up by 16.1% compared with the same period last year, and export was US$12.344 billion, up by 21.9% compared with the same period last year and 3.6 percentage points lower than the national average. This is the first time that increase rate of Zhejiang’s export was lower than the national average since March 2004. Among the primary coastal provinces and cities, increase rate of export of Guangdong, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Shandong is higher than Zhejiang's. In Feb, increase rate of both import and export of Zhejiang dropped due to the Spring Festival. Import and export in Feb amounted to US$ 7.208 billion, of which export was US$4.989 billion, up by 4.5% compared with the same period last year, and import was US$2.219 billion, up by 13.6% compared with the same period last year.
