Handling Capacity of Ningbo Port Broke Through 118 Million Tons in the First Half the Year, Increase Rate Ranking No.1 in the Nation

According to information released from relative department of Standing Committee of Ningbo Municipal People's Congress, in the first half the year, handling capacity of Ningbo Port broke through 118 million tons, up by over 25% on a year-on-year basis. 3 main commodities, namely mineral, oil and coal, were up by 19.6%, 26.3% and 23.3% respectively. Handling capacity for containers amounted to 1.801 TEUs, increasing by 45.9% on a year-on-year basis, and growth rate ranked No.1 among all coastal main ports.
