| US$164 Billion Imports and Exports of Taiwan in the First Half Year |

Taiwan financial department announced currently that imports of Taiwan in June amounted to US$14.64 billion and exports US$14.44 billion, up by 42.2% and 24.5% respectively. Total exports of Taiwan from January through June were US$83.96 billion and imports US$80 billion, up by 25.7% and 35.8% respectively. Trade surplus reached US$3.91 billion, US$3.85 billion less than that of the same period of last year. (Information by Special Commissioner's Office in Fuzhou) |
