| Enterprises in Ningbo Would Participate in East China Fair |

The 14th East China Fair would be held from 1st to 7th of March 2004 at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Ningbo delegation with 234 enterprises, 1040 sales men would participate ECF, and record high in number of enterprises, workers and booths. On the CEF, there are 346 booths by Ningbo delegation, ranking fourth in all the enterprises. 234 enterprises are in the CEF, 52 were more than last year. The commodities of textiles and garments, light industry, craftwork in all the fairs are specialties in Ningbo, attracting large foreign customers. Trade value was US$9.6 billion last year, while orders by CEF accounted for 1/5 of the total. (Information by Special Commissioner’s Office in Hangzhou) |
