| The 13th East China Fair was held at Shanghai from Mar. 3 to 7 in 2003. Hubei Province organized 19 enterprises to participate in the Fair, 9 more than last Fair; Transaction value were US$ 16.29 million, up by 94% compared with last Fair. The largest transaction was with textiles and garments. Transaction value was US$ 11.85 million; The next was arts & crafts and light industrial products, with a value of US$ 2.41 million and US$ 2.03 million respectively. 5 enterprises from Wuhan joined the Fair, with a transaction value of US$ 2.58 million, of which value of textiles and garments were US$ 1.58 million, light industrial products US$ 1 million.
