| 104th Canton Fair Is to Implement a Comprehensive Reform |

Ratified by the MOFCOM (Ministry of Commerce of China), the 104th Canton Fair, starting from on October 15 this year will implement a comprehensive reform. This was another great reform a year later since the import exhibition area was set up for the first time at the 101st Canton Fair in 2007. Briefly, the main changes are as follows: 1) 104th Canton Fair will consist of three phases; 2) It starts from October 15 and end on November 6, 2008. Thus, each of exhibition phases will last five days; 3) The venue for the whole Fair would be located at PaZhou Exhibition Hall, Guangzhou city, China and the old Hall (Liu Hua Road Hall) will not be used anymore; Phase 1: Oct. 15-19 Exhibiting Goods include: House Electric Appliances, Electronic Products, Communication Products & Tools, Computers & Parts, Large-sized Machinery Equipments, Small Machines, Hardware Tools, Bicycles & Motorcycles, Auto Accessories, Building & Decoration Materials, Lightning Products, Sanitary & Bathing Products, Chemical Products, Vehicles (outdoor), Engineering Machineries (outdoor), some Importing Goods etc. Phase 2: Oct 24-28 Exhibiting Goods include: Kitchen wares, Table wares, Daily-used Ceramic Products, Artistic Ceramics, House Decorative Products, Toys, Festival Goods, Gifts & Decorations, Glass Products, Glass wares, Horologes, Glasses, Personal Protection Tools, Bathroom Goods, Furniture, Knitting Goods, Cane & Iron Artistic Products, Gardening Products, etc. Phase 3: Nov.2-6 Exhibiting Goods include: Man & Woman’s Wears, Underwear, Sporting & Leisure Wears, Kids Wears, Costume Accessories & Decorative Goods, Fur & Feather Processing Dress, Footwear, Suitcase & Bags, Textiles, House-used Textile Goods, Carpets, Office Stationery, Foodstuff, Medical & Health Products, Medical Equipments & Parts, Sporting & Outdoor Traveling Products, etc.Cui Jidan |
