From January to August 2024, various kinds of workers dispatched abroad amounted to 257,000, an increase of 30,000 year on year. The number of workers dispatched for contracted projects was 95,000, and that for labor cooperation was 162,000. At the end of August 2024, 561,000 Chinese workers were working overseas.
