MOFCOM BJT
Q: On April 22, the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee passed the Multilateral Alignment of Technology Controls on Hardware (MATCH) Act and other export control bills. What is China’s comment?
A: China has noted that. China consistently opposes any practice of overstretching the concept of national security and abusing export controls. Should the relevant bills be enacted into law, they would severely undermine the international economic and trade order and disrupt the stability of the global semiconductor industrial and supply chains. China will closely monitor the legislative process, carefully assess its impact on China’s interests, and decisively take necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the lawful and legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
