MOFCOM BJT
Q: On June 22, MOFCOM issued an announcement stating that 10 U.S. entities are added to the Export Control Restricted Namelist. What is the consideration behind this decision?
A: To safeguard China’s national security and interest, perform the non-proliferation and other international obligations and in response to the U.S. government’s egregious act of expanding its list of alleged “Chinese military companies,” the Chinese side has decided, in accordance with the Export Control Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Regulation of the People’s Republic of China on the Export Control of Dual-Use Items, and other applicable laws and regulations, to add 10 U.S. military-related entities, including Aveox, Inc., to the Export Control Restricted Namelist. No export operator shall violate the above provisions supplying dual-use items to the listed entities. (Released on June 22)
