A: The root cause and responsibility for the current disruptions in the global semiconductor supply chain lie with the Dutch side. China has taken note of the EU’s statement that it will engage with the Netherlands on this matter. We hope the EU will further intensify its efforts in urging the Dutch side to promptly revoke the relevant measures and ensure the normal supply of Nexperia-related products. Acting responsibly for the security and stability of the global semiconductor supply chain, the Chinese side has taken concrete steps, including granting exemptions for compliant exports intended for civilian use. We welcome the EU’s continued efforts to leverage its influence to urge the Netherlands to correct its wrongful practice as soon as possible.
