A: Since the implementation of export controls on rare earth-related items, Chinese authorities have conducted policy briefings for domestic exporters. With the accumulation of export experience and compliance practices, some Chinese exporters have preliminarily met the basic requirements for applying for general licenses. To my knowledge, a number of general license applications submitted by Chinese exporters have already been received and approved.
