A: Supporting foreign trade enterprises in securing orders and expanding markets has always been a priority for us. MOFCOM will resolutely implement the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, ensure existing policies are carried out effectively, and enhance services to help foreign trade businesses navigate all sorts of risks and challenges.

First, we will strengthen policy support. We will see to it that policies directly benefit foreign trade enterprises to stabilize their confidence and expectations. We will comb through and replicate best practices across regions to facilitate exchanges and mutual learning.We will intensify research to expand our policy toolkit to deal with new situations and new challeges facing foreign trade. and develop contingency measures for emerging challenges in foreign trade.

Second, we will continuously enhance support for enterprise. We will make full use of the roundtable mechanism to collect and address concerns and requests of businesses, and further increase support for foreign trade enterprises in areas such as finance and employment to ensure their production and contract fulfillment.

Third, we will help enterprises explore more international markets. We will guide enterprises to make good use of international exhibitions and conventions, make the upcoming 138th Canton Fair a great success, and organize trade promotion events. We will intensify support for export credit insurance, and provide various insurance products and services to meet export enterprises’ short-term needs for credit insurance. We will continue publishing China Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Gazette and Guide for Countries and Regions on Overseas Investment and Cooperation to help foreign trade enterprises access more information about overseas markets.
