According to statistics of the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, in 2022, China’s all-sector overseas direct investment was RMB985.37 billion, up 5.2% (USD146.5 billion, up 0.9%) year-on-year. Specifically, China’s non-financial direct investment in 6,430 overseas businesses from 160 countries and regions amounted to RMB785.94 billion, up 7.2% (USD116.85 billion, up 2.8%) year-on-year.
